Daniel Cogan is a nurse practitioner in New York City, where he has dedicated his career to providing relief of pain and other symptoms for 25 years. Daniel works with patients ranging from the otherwise-healthy who suffer from TMS and other mind-body syndromes, to those with advanced or terminal illness. In addition to being licensed as Adult Health Nurse Practitioner and Gerontological Nurse practitioner,
he is trained in Pain Reprocessing Therapy and Emotional Awareness and Expression Therapy, and has advanced certification in hospice and palliative nursing, and geriatric nursing. He is a graduate of the Columbia University School of Nursing,
and earned a Certificate in Bioethics and Medical Humanities from the
Montefiore-Einstein Center for Bioethics. In his spare time he is an amateur tree climber and arborist.
Daniel joins the Suite 14 Psychotherapy team to provide treatment, as well as diagnostic assessments for patients who require a medical opinion regarding the source of their pain.
